Lastly, we want to launch initiatives that will not only assist young ladies and young men with their developmental growth, but also equip them to be Service Leaders as well.
EW Pillars of Success
Community + Collaborate
EW prides itself on community activism and collaboration. In 2016, E.L.I.T.E. Women collectively have 100+ volunteer hours and have collaborated in with other organizations in multiple capacities. One organization that E.L.I.T.E. Women sponsors and the Founder of EW is the co-creator of is Real Meal Grill Detroit (RGMD). Real Meal Grill Detroit (RMGD) is a mission-based celebration created in partnership by E.L.I.T.E Women and Toast2U to benefit Detroiters facing homelessness.
EW has mentored in collaboration with multiple nonprofit organizations since 2013. Collectively we have a total of 2500+ volunteer hours and counting as we are now partnered with the Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) Youth Initiatives Project (YIP). We also launched our E-Pen Pal program in February 2016, and are always seeking out women who are willing and ready to give their time. If interested, please let us know below.
Service is a combination of all the things listed above which are all of what EW does. We make it a priority to volunteer our time, finances, or resources in any way that we can. We are Service Leaders and we lead by example.
